What we do

We support international workers who previously contributed to Germany’s statutory pension-insurance system and now live abroad. Our role is to make the administrative process understandable, properly organised and easier to manage from another country.

A complex process needs a clear method. We combine careful document preparation, structured case coordination and personal communication from Germany. You always know what has been received, what is still needed and what happens next.

The service includes:

  • Helping you understand the general factors that DRV commonly considers, including nationality, residence, contribution history, waiting periods and possible international insurance periods
  • Identifying the DRV office that appears responsible based on the available official information
  • Preparing the applicable contribution-refund and payment documents from information confirmed by you
  • Providing a personal checklist instead of asking every client for the same undifferentiated bundle of documents
  • Reviewing the assembled application for administrative completeness before submission
  • Coordinating submission through the agreed channel and recording what was sent and when
  • Assisting with ordinary German-language DRV correspondence within the agreed scope
  • Explaining routine DRV letters in clear English or German
  • Helping prepare factual responses and organise additional documents requested by DRV
  • Providing appropriate status enquiries and keeping you informed during an active case
  • Explaining the practical contents of DRV’s first decision without giving legal or tax advice

Service standards we aim to meet

  • One named personal contact throughout the agreed service
  • Confirmation when documents are received
  • A clear notice when information appears incomplete
  • A copy or summary of important submissions and correspondence
  • An update at least every four weeks while a case is actively pending, even if DRV has not provided a new decision
  • Prompt notice when a matter falls outside the administrative scope and requires DRV, a registered Rentenberater, lawyer or tax adviser

What is not included

  • Legal advice or a binding eligibility opinion
  • Objections, appeals, litigation or disputed representation
  • Tax advice
  • Advice on foreign pension rights
  • Applications for a future monthly German pension
  • Certified translation, notarisation, certification, courier and third-party charges
